Public Offer

Versija / Version: 2026-07-06

1. General Provisions

This document is a public offer (oferta) to enter into an agreement between the LABASklabas platform (hereinafter — the Platform) and any individual (hereinafter — the Participant) who has registered or wishes to register for paid speaking club events.

The Platform operates at labasklabas.lt and provides Lithuanian language speaking club services remotely via a video conferencing platform.

2. Formation of Agreement

The agreement is considered concluded from the moment the Participant:

  1. Registers for an event through the Platform;
  2. Checks the box agreeing to this Public Offer;
  3. Completes payment or confirms participation in a free event.

3. Description of Services

The Platform organises remote speaking club sessions during which Participants practise the Lithuanian language. Each event has:

  • A specified date, time and duration;
  • A specified minimum and maximum number of Participants;
  • A specified language level and topic;
  • A specified price or a free-event label.

The Platform also provides a private messaging feature that allows a Participant and the host they are connected to (the host of an event or lessons the Participant has booked) to communicate directly about organisational and learning-related matters. Messages may contain text and images.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for paid events is made in advance at the time of registration. The following payment methods are accepted:

  • Electronic payment via the Paysera system;
  • Bank transfer using the details provided by the Platform.

A processing fee may be applied to payments — the same for all payment methods — and its exact amount is shown before you confirm the payment.

Payment is considered completed when the funds are received in the Platform's account.

4.1. Individual and Recurring Lessons

A single (one-off) individual lesson that the Participant books themselves is paid immediately at the time of booking. The following additional payment terms apply to recurring (weekly) individual lessons and to lessons a host schedules on the Participant's behalf (including a lesson invitation by email):

  • The chosen weekly time slot is reserved for the specified number of lessons. The full amount is not charged upfront — each lesson is paid for separately.
  • The fee for each lesson is automatically charged from the Participant's balance 36 hours before that lesson begins.
  • If the balance is insufficient at that time, the Participant is notified and invited to top up; once topped up, the lesson is confirmed automatically.
  • If a lesson remains unpaid 12 hours before it begins, it is automatically cancelled and the reserved time is released.
  • The Participant may cancel a single upcoming lesson, all upcoming recurring lessons, or the recurrence from a chosen date onward. No charge is applied to not-yet-paid future lessons; for already-paid cancelled lessons the funds are returned to the Participant's balance.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  1. If the organiser cancels the event: The Participant's payment is refunded in full within 5–10 business days.
  2. If the Participant cancels: No refund is issued unless the Participant notifies the Platform at least 24 hours before the event — in which case a credit voucher may be issued.
  3. No-show without prior notice: No refund is issued.
  4. Individual lessons: On their own initiative, a Participant may cancel or reschedule an individual lesson free of charge no later than 24 hours before it starts. Less than 24 hours before the start, the lesson can no longer be cancelled or rescheduled by the Participant — in such cases the Participant contacts support, and the amount paid is generally non-refundable.

6. Participant Rights and Obligations

The Participant has the right to:

  • Receive quality speaking club services in accordance with the event description;
  • Cancel their participation under the conditions set out in clause 5;
  • Contact the Platform with questions and complaints.

The Participant undertakes to:

  • Observe respectful communication rules with other participants and the host;
  • Join the event on time and from a quiet environment;
  • Not record or distribute the event without explicit consent;
  • Not share the meeting link with third parties;
  • Use the messaging feature only for its intended purpose — be respectful and not send offensive, unlawful or promotional (spam) content, or personal data belonging to third parties.

7. Platform Rights and Obligations

The Platform undertakes to:

  • Organise events in accordance with the stated description;
  • Notify the Participant of any cancellation or changes;
  • Protect the Participant's personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

The Platform has the right to:

  • Cancel an event if the minimum number of participants is not reached;
  • Remove a Participant from an event for misconduct without compensation;
  • Where there is a justified need (e.g. upon a complaint about inappropriate content), review message correspondence to ensure safety and compliance with these terms, and restrict or revoke access to the messaging feature where these terms are breached or a complaint about misconduct is received;
  • Amend the terms of this Public Offer with prior notice to Participants.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is not liable for technical failures, internet disruptions or other circumstances beyond the Platform's control (force majeure).

The Platform is not liable for interactions between Participants arising during or after events.

9. Personal Data Protection

By registering and using the Platform, the Participant agrees to the Privacy Policy published at labasklabas.lt/privacy.

10. Final Provisions

This Public Offer is governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation and, if unsuccessful, before the courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
